The Dean Micheal Batio Signature guitar features a basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck, making this guitar lightweight. The wood produces a thick and dynamic tone with plenty of balance and power thanks to the soft and light nature of basswood and maple. Additionally, the C shaped maple neck provides a smooth playability with a bright and punchy tone.

DMT Design Pickups
Featuring two DMT Design humbucking pickups in the bridge, middle and neck position, the MAB Signature Guitar delivers a powerful and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and highs. The DMT Design humbuckers are perfect for a range of playing styles and music genres. They particularly excel when used for hard rock.

About Michael Batio
Michael Batio, or MAB, is an American heavy metal guitarist from Chicago and was also the lead guitarist for the glam metal band Nitro in the 80s and 90s. Batio is well known for his heavy metal, his technical mastery of the fretboard and his extremely fast picking and sweep picked arpeggios. Batio played double and quad guitars, using both hands to play. He was voted ‘the number one fastest guitar shredder of all time’ in 2003, which is shown in the design of his signature guitar.
