' A ruby and diamond set cluster ring. Centering on one oval mixed cut heavily included treated ruby, measuring 10.50mm x 8.00mm x 1.78mm ( very shallow ) yellow rub over set and surrounded by a cluster of ten rose cut diamonds, ranging in diameters from 3.50mm to 3.70mm, each claw and grain set to a white-fronted decorative oval cluster head, to split fleur-de-lys style scroll carved shoulders and a plain polished " D " shaped cross sectioned shank with central groove. Hallmarked sterling silver Birmingham, sponsors CCL, with an additional park mark for 18ct gold. Ring also carries French marks on the outside of shank. Calculated ruby weight 1.25 carat ( approx ). Calculated total diamond weight 1.47 carat ( approx ), quality assessed as I/J colour, SI1-12 clarity. One of the diamonds is cracked.
