Sony CDX-M8800 Compact Disc Player

The specific fault of the cd player is unknown but i was doing some research on the internet and theres alot of people who own this model and have had the same problem and have had to replace the "ribbon" which apparently connects the head to the actually base of the unit and "ribbon repair kits" sell on ebay for around £14.99 which may fix the stereo and it would be a real bargain. The fault is as follows, the remote works the unit fine but when the units actually open there is no backlight or display on the inside of the unit and its very reluctant to give back the cd which i put in to test it in the first place so i guess i will be throwing that in with who ever the lucky bidder is who wins the item.

AS EXPLAINED THIS ITEM  IS FAULTY AND THE FAULTS HAVE BEEN SPECIFIED IN THE DESCRIPTION AND SO IT WILL COME WITH NO WARRANTY
